ReelToons 1.0 is an animation model. It doesn’t write your story, and it doesn’t have opinions about your jokes. It takes what you give it and turns it into 2D animation. Here’s how that works, step by step.
Step 1: Your script
Everything starts with your script: what happens, scene by scene, and what anyone says. This is the most important input by far. The model animates what’s written, so a clear script gives a clear cartoon.
A few things that help:
- Describe each scene visually. Where are we, who’s there, and what do they do?
- Keep it short. 15–60 seconds is a lot less time than it sounds. One idea per cartoon.
- Put the hook first. On social, the first second decides whether anyone watches the rest.
- Put your business at the end. Logo, product or line: where people are most likely to remember it.
Step 2: Your characters
If you have a mascot or character art, upload it and the model animates it. If you don’t, describe your characters in words (“a nervous croissant with tiny legs”) and the model designs them. Reusing the same character art across cartoons gives you a consistent cast.
Step 3: Shape and length
Pick 16:9 for YouTube and websites, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or 3:4 for the feed. Then choose a length, from 15 seconds up. If your cartoon has narration, write it into your story or attach a recording.
Step 4: Generation
This is the part that used to take an animation studio weeks. ReelToons 1.0 generates the drawing and the motion, then delivers the result as a Full HD MP4, vertical 9:16 or horizontal 16:9. Choose ReelToons 1.0, ready in 16–24 hours, or 1.0 Turbo, ready in 2–5 hours for twice the seconds.
Step 5: Use it, or regenerate
Your cartoon arrives in your studio console. Watch it. If you like it, download it and post it. If you don’t, change your script or notes and generate again. Like any generative tool, results vary from run to run, and each generation uses its length in seconds from your balance. There are no revision rounds or manual edits: you stay in the director’s chair.
Why it works this way
Keeping humans out of the middle is what makes it fast and cheap. No briefing calls, no drafts going back and forth, no agency markup: just your story in and a cartoon out, at $0.20 a second.
In one line: you write it, the model draws it, and you decide whether to use it or run it again.
