made for

  • Character-driven cartoons for social feeds, ads and websites
  • Your own mascot or characters, from artwork or a description
  • Multi-scene stories with a setup, a twist and an ending
  • Vertical, horizontal and portrait shapes from the same story

what it won’t do

  • ✕
    Photorealistic footage: it’s a 2D animation model
  • ✕
Real, identifiable people or brands you don’t own, without permission
  • ✕
Editing an existing video you upload
  • ✕
Writing your story for you: you direct, it animates

prompting ReelToons 1.0

Better stories in, better cartoons out.

ReelToons 1.0 animates what you write, so a clear story goes a long way. Results vary between runs: if one isn’t right, generate again.

One idea per cartoon

A cartoon carries one idea well. Pick the one thing people should remember.

Write what we see

“A croissant swells until it bursts through the door” animates better than “the croissant is very big”.

Say who speaks

Put dialogue in quotes and name the speaker, scene by scene.

Hook first, brand last

Something should happen in the first scene. Your logo or line belongs at the end.
