The service

BlueGrey (“BlueGrey”, “we”) operates ReelToons, an AI-powered 2D animation model and studio at reeltoons.site. ReelToons generates short animated videos (“Cartoons”) from the scripts, character references, voiceovers and other materials you provide (“Your Materials”), using third-party generative AI models and tools. ReelToons is a generation service: we do not write scripts, provide creative direction or edit Cartoons by hand.

Accounts & the waitlist

You need an account to generate Cartoons. New accounts join a waitlist and we approve them at our discretion, usually within one business day. We’ll email you when your account is approved. We may decline or close an account that breaches these terms.

Your Materials

You are responsible for Your Materials and for the content of every Cartoon generated from them. Your Materials are kept private and used only to generate your Cartoons. Parts of them are necessarily sent to the generative models used, and those providers process them under their own API terms.

Pricing & prepaid seconds

Seconds are purchased upfront at $0.20 (US) each, in payments of $15 to $500 (75 to 2,500 seconds); larger amounts may be invoiced. A ReelToons 1.0 generation uses one second of balance per second of Cartoon; a ReelToons 1.0 Turbo generation uses two. Each generation, including any regeneration, is charged when you request it. The minimum Cartoon length is 15 seconds. Unused seconds do not expire while your account is open. Prices are those shown at the time you buy.

Payment

Payments are made upfront through PayPal and are subject to PayPal’s terms. We never see or store your card details.

Generations, results & regenerations

Cartoons are generated by AI and results vary from one generation to the next. We do not guarantee that a Cartoon will match your expectations, be suitable for any purpose, or perform in any way once published. You review each Cartoon and decide whether to use it.

If you are not satisfied with a Cartoon, you may change Your Materials and generate again; each regeneration uses seconds from your balance. We do not offer revisions, manual edits or refunds for seconds used on completed generations.

Delivery

Cartoons are delivered in your studio console as Full HD MP4 files at the length and aspect ratio requested. Our target is 16–24 hours from submission for ReelToons 1.0 and 2–5 hours for ReelToons 1.0 Turbo. These are targets, not guarantees; longer or more complex Cartoons may take longer.

Licence & ownership

Your Materials remain yours. Once a generation is paid for, we assign to you all rights we hold in the generated Cartoon, and you may use it for any lawful purpose, including advertising, paid social and broadcast. We only show your Cartoon in our portfolio or marketing with your permission.

Acceptable use

You confirm that you have the rights to all of Your Materials, including scripts, character art, voice recordings, logos and trademarks. You must not upload or request the likeness or voice of a real, identifiable person without their documented consent, or characters, brands or trademarks you do not have rights to.

We may refuse to generate, or remove, any content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, harmful to children, intended to mislead voters or impersonate anyone, or that would breach the usage policies of the models we use. If we refuse a generation, its seconds are returned to your balance.

AI-generated content

Cartoons are generated with AI models and may contain imperfections or unexpected results. Review every Cartoon before you publish it. Some platforms and jurisdictions require AI-generated media to be labelled, and you are responsible for complying with the rules where you publish.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BlueGrey’s aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the preceding 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the update. Questions: hello@reeltoons.site.
